Over view
From Dec. 1 in 2017, the Cybermedia Center, Osaka University will start the computing service by OCTOPUS, a hybrid-typed cluster system with 1.463 PFLOPS peak performance, composed of general CPU nodes, many-core nodes, GPU computing nodes, large-scale main memory nodes, and large-scale storage.
As a part of celebration events, we provide OCTOPUS computing services to the current users and the possible future users without imposing a service charge for the first four months from Dec. 1, 2017 until the end of March, 2018. If you are not satisfied with computing resources in your laboratory, you just want to use cutting-edge accelerators and brand-new processors, please try to use our new over-petascale universal supercomputing system named OCTOPUS. Of course, also in the case you have no experience of using any supercomputer systems, don't hesitate to try.
