12th JHPCN symposium
The Joint Usage/Research Center for Interdisciplinary Large-scale Information Infrastructures is made up of eight centers equipped with supercomputers. These centers are the Information Initiative Center of Hokkaido University, the Cyberscience Center of Tohoku University, the Information Technology Center of the University of Tokyo, the Global Scientific Information and Computing Center of the Tokyo Institute of Technology, the Information Technology Center of Nagoya University, the Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies of Kyoto University, the Cybermedia Center of Osaka University, and the Research Institute for Information Technology of Kyushu University.

This symposium invites experts who have worked on storage and data infrastructure in industry-academia and considers the theme of future data infrastructure for high-performance computing and high-performance data analysis service based on utilization examples of our large-scale computer system and trends of research and development.
Call for volunteers for 2nd tests on OCTOPUS-Azure cloudbursting environment
The Cybermedia Center has recently built an experimental cloudbursting functionality on OCTOPUS. This functionality allows researchers to perform computation on Microsoft Azure in the same job submission fashion as OCTOPUS.
SQUID Celebration: Kick-start Program for SX-ACE users towards the coming Aurora TSUBASA

Explanatory session on SQUID for SX-ACE users -How to move onto Aurora TSUBASA from SX-ACE-
1月26日（火）にSX-ACEユーザ向けSQUID説明会を開催いたします。SX-Aurora TSUBASAはSX-ACEの後継機ですが、仕様が異なる部分があるためSX-ACEでお使いのプログラムをSX-Aurora TSUBASAへスムーズに移行できない場合があります。今回の説明会ではSX-Aurora TSUBASAの概要を紹介するとともに、SX-ACEから移行する際の流れや注意点などを紹介します。SX-ACEをお使いでない方もご自由にご参加いただけます。
