8th JHPCN Symposium

学際大規模情報基盤共同利用・共同研究拠点(JHPCN) 第8回シンポジウムでは，平成27年度に実施された共同研究課題35件の研究成果を口頭発表で報告し，平成28年度に採択された共同研究課題39件の研究内容および萌芽課題の研究内容をポスターセッションで紹介いたします。
Supercomputing Contest 2016
SupercomputingContestは、スーパーコンピュータを駆使した高校生のプログラミング大会です。
予選を通過した10組のチーム（1チーム2～3名）が大阪大学、東京工業大学の会場に分かれ、スーパーコンピュータを使ったプログラミングを行います。数日間かけて本選課題の問題を解くプログラムを作成し、作成最終日に提出されたプログラムの正確さ・速度を審査委員会が評価し、コンテスト最終日の成果報告会で発表します。本選課題には、科学技術の様々な分野から最先端の話題が選ばれ、それを高校生にもわかりやすい問題にして、皆さんに挑戦してもらいます。

Cybermedia Center, Osaka University has showcased our research and education activities in the international conference and exhibition SC (so-called SuperComputing) on HPC, networking, storage, and analysis since 2000. We hope to introduce our research results and promote research products in the research exhibit booth in SC.
AXIES 2016 HPC technology
大阪大学サイバーメディアセンターでは、国内の学術機関との連携により、情報通信(ICT)技術を応用した高等教育に向けた取り組み・研究、ならびに、高等教育のグローバル化に対応した取り組み・研究の成果報告・情報共有することを目的とし、大学ICT推進協議会(AXIES)が毎年主催する年次大会において研究発表、研究展示を行っています。
