a effect of failure on SQUID (Nov 26)

Added at November 26 7:30 p.m.

To investigate this problem, we will restart the scheduler system and it will have the following affects on the jobs submitted to SQUID.

  • Jobs that are already running will be executed normally.
  • The jobs which are already assigned ("Planned Start Time" is displayed in sstat) will be affected and "Planned Start Time" may be delayed.
  • We may hold jobs in the investigation. We will notify individually if hold is done.

In addition, "Scheduling Condition" page displayed on the SQUID portal will also be temporarily suspended.OCTOPUS and other web systems will continue to operate normally.

-----
There was a issue that it took a long time to execute a job on SQUID after submitting it from around 1:45 to 12:18 on November 26.

It has been recovered now, but the cause is still under investigation.
OCTOPUS and web application system/user management system, etc. could be used as usual.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
