    We accept applications for continuous use by Friday, March 24, 2023. A representative of application read the following and apply. Please click here for the application procedure and here for FAQ.
     

    [NOTICE]

      • Users of HPCI or JHPCN or Research proposal based use cannot submit service application for next fiscal year.
      • If you will not submit service application for next fiscal year, your account will be automatically stopped at the end of March. If you end to use our system in this fiscal year, any application is not required.
      • We can not accept additional resource request for this fiscal year after submitting application of continuous use for next fiscal year.
      • We are going to charge your usage fee in April 2023.

     

    Available computer resources

      The following computer resources are being accepted for next fiscal year.

      • OCTOPUS shared-use
      • SQUID shared-use
      • SQUID dedicated-use (General-purpose CPU node only)

      In April 2023, we will make the following changes to terms of service charge and coefficient. Please refer to this page for details.

    Only the representative can apply for continued usage application. All accounts belonging to the group will be transferred to the next year after the representative submits the application.

FAQ

    Q.How can I end to use ?

      A.You do not have to do anything. If you would not apply continuous use application for the next fiscal year, we end your account at the end of March.
       

    Q.I use OCTOPUS in this fiscal year but want to use SQUID in the next year. How can I apply?

      A.You can choose SQUID in application for continuous usage.
       

    Q.I use OCTOPUS in this fiscal year but want to use SQUID in the next year. Will I not be able to access OCTOPUS?

      A.You will not be able to log in to OCTOPUS, but you will still be able to access OCTOPUS storage from SQUID, since OCTOPUS and SQUID are mounted on each other. The same applies in the reverse case. Please see here for details on how to access the system. However, the data on the system that you did not apply for continuous usage may be deleted at the end of the next fiscal year. Please move the necessary data to the system you have applied by then.
