This information session is intended for those considering using the mdx II system for the first time. We will introduce the system’s overview, features, usage methods, and application procedures. We will also provide a detailed explanation of its performance and benchmark results, making it an ideal session for those planning to use the system for large-scale data processing, AI, or machine learning. In the latter half of the session, we will have a time slot for individual consultations where we can address specific usage plans and technical questions.
 

What is mdx II?

mdx II” is an OpenStack-based virtual server computing platform hosted by the University of Osaka and operated by the Collaborative Organization for the Platform for Building a Data-Empowered Society. It enables flexible environment construction using virtual machines and can be used for a variety of purposes, including supercomputer-like tasks, data platform development, and AI training.
