The large-scale computing system will be temporarily stopped for maintenance (Mar. 31 - Apr. 9)

Please be advised that the large-scale computing system and web systems will be temporarily suspended due to the end-of-fiscal-year maintenance. Accounts of groups that have not submitted a continuation application will be deactivated upon completion of this maintenance. The User Management System will also be unavailable during this period. If you wish to continue using the system, please submit the "service application for next fiscal year" by March 26 (Thursday).
If you are unable to complete the continuation application before the maintenance due to unavoidable circumstances, please contact us via the Inquiry Form.
 

SQUID, ExaScaler, ONION-file March 31, 2026, 5:00 p.m. – April 9, 2026, 10:00 a.m.
OCTOPUS March 31, 2026, 5:00 p.m. – April 6, 2026, 1:00 p.m.
ONION-object April 1, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – April 2, 2026, 10:00 a.m.

Impact of the Maintenance

  • SQUID, OCTOPUS
    All servers and compute nodes, including front-end servers, login servers (license servers), and storage systems, will be shut down.
    Users will not be able to log in or submit/run jobs (both exclusive and shared usage).
    Please note that jobs specifying an elapsed time (elapstime_req) that exceeds the maintenance start time will not be executed.
    Jobs that have not started running at the beginning of the maintenance will be deleted (qdel).
  •  

  • ONION
    ExaScaler, ONION-file, and ONION-object services will be suspended.
    Users will not be able to log in to the system or upload/download files during the maintenance period.
  •  

  • WEB system
    The following services will be unavailable during the maintenance period:
