Numerical study on the interaction between large-amplitude electromagnetic waves and high-density plasmas under a strong magnetic field

Abstract:高速電波バースト(FRB)と呼ばれる天体現象では、ミリ秒程度の短い持続時間の高輝度電波放射が観測されている。この天体の放射源及び放射機構については未解明であるが、マグネターと呼ばれる強磁場磁気圏を持つ中性子星との関連が指摘されている。そこで、我々はFRB で予想されるような極限プラズマ下での波動粒子相互作用をPIC シミュレーションを用いて解析している。
