Initiation and propagation of detonation in a detonation tube with an equivalence ratio pool ranging from 0.8 to 1.2

Abstract:The purpose of this study is to understand the occurrence of detonation resulting from combustion within the Mini-Rut structure, in order to assess its potential hazards and gain knowledge regarding the structural safety. In a previous study conducted in 2023, detonation was observed in a premixed H₂-air gas at an equivalence ratio (Φ) of 1.0. In the present study, experiments were conducted with equivalence ratios ranging from 0.8 to 1.2.
