There is an urgent need for a wide range of research in areas of bioinformatics, drug discovery and epidemiology to fight against COVID-19. HPCI issued an urgent call for proposals which needs supercomputer resources for COVID-19 research in FY 2020 and it has been decided to continue the special call which provides various kinds of supercomputer resources for free in FY 2021. In this fiscal year, the target research area is not limited to COVID-19 but expanded to infectious diseases in general. The Cybermedia Center is now providing the following supercomputing resources to HPCI (High-Performance Computing Infrastructure) for Fighting against Infectious Diseases including COVID-19.
