With regards to a frontend server occurred failure, we finished recovering it. we report the latest situation.
- user account beginning with "ile" or "rcnp".
we recovered these users at 8:00 p.m., November 17.
These users will able to log in our system normally.
- user account beginning with the character besides "ile" or "rcnp"
we recovered these users at 7:45 p.m., November 20.
These users will able to log in our system normally.
We will report individually files affected by this failure.

With regards to a frontend server occurred failure, we report the latest situation.
[symptom]
The following symptom occurs in some users.
- When you connect to login.hpc.cmc.osaka-u.ac.jp, authentication for user ID success and the following message print out on your console. But a prompt does not display and does not receive you any command.

- Transfering any file is unavailable with WinSCP etc.
[cause]
This symptom is occurred by an effect of I/O server failure on our filesystem.
The filesystem locked some files for the I/O server failure. With that as a cause, some user could not log into our system.

we recovered these users at 8:00 p.m. today.
These users will able to log in our system normally.
- user account beginning with the character besides "ile" or "rcnp"
we are investigating and recovering these users now.
some user cannot login our system.
We will report individually files affected by this failure.

With regards to a frontend server occurred failure on Nov 15, we announced to resolved it on Nov 16, 5:00 p.m. However, the same failure has continued to occur yet on some user.
