Questionnaire FY 2023 (May 9 - June 30)

      In recent years, the university’s budget has become increasingly tight, this has affected the operation of our center’s supercomputer systems. In allocating budgets, the amount of research outcomes generated and the number of papers acknowledging the supercomputer have become important criteria. We have received research results submissions for the fiscal year 2022 as shown this, and have continued to receive similar information for the fiscal year 2023.

      If you have any opinions or feelings about the research outcome reports, please let us know. It doesn’t matter if your feedback is that the description content is insufficient or too extensive and cumbersome to submit. Furthermore, if you have any suggestions on how our center can better promote the achievements of the supercomputer, we would greatly appreciate your advice.
      With the evolution of public clouds, the options for computational resources in research have expanded in recent years. Within the university, there are those who question the necessity of traditional supercomputers due to the flexible features offered by public clouds. We would like to hear your opinion on whether you think public clouds could replace supercomputers or if they have a complementary relationship with them. If there are aspects that you believe are difficult to substitute with public clouds, please explain your reasons as well.
