We provide HDD 20 PB, SSD 1.2 PB storage for file system of SQUID. The file system has three areas, "home area", "work area" and "ssd area". Home area: 10GB for each user and work area: 5TB for each group are allocated as the initial capacity. If you use the ssd area or use more than 5TB of work area, you need to apply for a separate paid option.
 

home area

This area is a login directory. We allocate HDD 10 GB to all users as home area. home area is the following path:

/sqfs/home/(user ID)

for instance, in the case of User ID "user001", home area is /sqfs/home/user001.
 

work area

This area is able to expanse quota depending on your application. We allocate HDD 5 TB to all groups as work area at first. Please notice that the usage is the amount of home area and work area. work area is the folowing path:

/sqfs/work/(group name)/(user ID)

for instance, in the case of User ID "user001" in Group "G00001", work area is /sqfs/work/G00001/user001.
Please check your group name with "groups" command.
 

In the area under the group name, users who belong to the group can freely move files and create new directories. Please use it for sharing files within the group.
 

ssd area

The ssd area is SSD storage, which enables faster I/O than the home area and work area. If you want to use it, please apply for the additional storage option. SSDk area is the folowing path:

/sqfs/ssd/(group name)/(user ID)

for instance, in the case of User ID "user001" in Group "G00001", ssd area is /sqfs/ssd/G00001/user001.
Please check your group name with "groups" command.

Command for checking disk resource usage

    Please use usage_view command. This command shows the information of node-hours consumed on SQUID by the user and the user's group. Also, disk usage by the user and the user's group are displayed. The detail is following page.
