Information for using SQUID(Jul 19)
We start urgent maintenance as the following:
Today 13:00 - 15:00
1. We will modify "usage_view" command because this command does not output correctly data usage per user in "work" area.
2. We stop NextCloud service(Onionweb) for 30 minutes. All users can not access NextCloud with a web browser during this maintenance.
Today 14:30 - 15:00
1. We stop the following license for approximately 15 minutes because we will update the license server: AVS/Express, NEC compiler & toolset, Intel compiler & toolset
2. Assigned jobs will be re-scheduled because we will update our scheduler. Executing jobs are not affected by this maintenance and will execute normally.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
We have the notice to use SQUID.
We installed Quantum Espresso for Vector. Please see this page for a detail:
We installed Python for GPU. Please see this page for a detail:
We update this pdf manual sequentially:
If you did not specify "elapstim_req" on a job script, SQUID automatically set "24 hours" now. However, please note that SQUID will have automatically set "1 hour" from July 15. In addition, please note a margin between"elpstim_req" on job script and "actually execution time". SQUID assigns calculation resources based on a number of nodes and "elpstim_req" on the job script. If your specified "elapstim_req" is long, a wait time may long correspondingly.
The free trial program of SQUID will be finished at the end of July, 2021 and we are going to move to the official operation of SQUID for a fee from August 2021. Please see this page and fill out the application form in the case that you want to use SQUID.
