At this center, the supercomputers OCTOPUS and SQUID can be used with login nodes and lending media. The available version is ver. 8.5.

Use it in the login node of SQUID

How to use

Connect to the login node of SQUID and enter the start command. This is a GUI-based application, so an XWindow environment is required.

% express

How to use

Please connect to the login node of OCTOPUS, and input the start command. Because it becomes use by GUI, the XWindow environment is necessary.

Follow the setup instructions provided with the loaner media to install the software, then double-click the icon on your desktop to launch it.

How to apply

The AVS can be borrowed only by residents of Osaka University and users of the large-scale computer system. Please fill out the AVS Application Form and send it to the address below. Please note that applications must be made every fiscal year.
