In this center, it is possible to use it in a large-scale computer system and to use it with lending media. Due to regulations, people belonging to private companies are not allowed to use this service. Please understand.

 

Using with SQUID

    how to use

    Please connect to the front-end node of

    SQUID supercomputer and input the start command. If you try to connect more than 4 users, the message "Unable to license IDL. Please do not start more than one IDL per person.

Use with OCTOPUS

    How to use

    Connect to the login node of the OCTOPUS supercomputer and enter the startup command. The number of users who can use the IDL at the same time is limited to four, including SQUID. Please do not start more than one IDL per person.

    How to apply

    If you are a Large-Scale Computer System user, you do not need to apply. However, you are not allowed to use the system except for academic use.

     

     

Use with lending media

    How to use

    Please install according to the setup instructions attached to the lending media, and double-click the icon on your desktop to start.

     

    How to apply

    The IDL can be borrowed only by users of the Large-Scale Computer System and those who live within Osaka University. Please fill out the IDL Application Form and send it to the address below. Please note that applications must be made every fiscal year.
