マルチスケール流体力学シミュレーション

概要:We have numerically investigated multiscale fluid dynamics problems, including i) rising shallow methane hydrate in gas-lift systems, ii) inertial migration of hydrogel particles, and iii) gas-liquid two-phase flows driven by a pressure-loss-dominant rotor. Numerical simulations using the SQUID supercomputer at D3 Center, The University of Osaka, have successfully clarified their underlying mechanisms.
